Madison Moody
Co-Owner/Director
Madison is 24 years old and lives & breathes Studio M. She started her dance journey at age 3, in which she danced competitively for 13 years. She has won numerous Regional and National awards throughout her dance career. Madison started assistant teaching at age 11, with recreational and competitive classes, and completely fell in love. She began teaching her own recreational classes at age 16 in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, technique classes, and tiny tumbling classes. Madison started teaching competitive classes at age 19, and her choreography has placed in the Top 10 multiple times. Madison's favorite place she has ever danced was in Times Square and a Broadway stage in New York City! . Madison is also a licensed esthetician and loves making people feel confident and beautiful. Her favorite styles of dance are contemporary, ballet, and jazz! Educating is her passion and she hopes to share her love for dance through her classes with this new generation of dancers!
Misty Moody
Co-Owner
Misty has been a dance mom for 20 years and has loved every second. She has developed a passion for watching dance education and loves seeing all the dancers smiling faces in the studio. Misty has a Bachelor's in Psychology, and works at Juvenile Probation as a Supervisor. Misty will be handling Studio M's administration, and loves to see all the dancers walking in and greeting her at the front desk. She will never resist the opportunity to hand out a sticker or a snack. She loves to craft, including everything from t-shirts, car freshies and her personal favorite rhinestoning.Her favorite style of dance is whatever her daughters are performing, she just loves to watch all the hard work!
Mallory Wilson
Teacher
Mallory is 21 years old, and has been dancing since she was 3. She has danced competitively for 12 years. Mallory loves to have fun and work hard. She was an assistant teacher for 5 years, and this will be her fourth year as a teacher. Mallory cheered in high school and is so excited to introduce the world of pom to Studio M. Her favorite styles of dance are tap, hip-hop, and musical theatre. Mallory lives with her husband, Justin, their son, Henry, their two dogs, and their cat. She loves to dance and is so happy to get to share her love through teaching. Mallory is very excited to continue her dance journey with her new classes!
Brynna Givens
Assistant Teacher
Brynna started dance at age 3 and continued dancing for 15 years. She started assistant teaching at age 16 and taught for 4 years. Classes she assisted with include ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical. She is 24 years old and she has taken a break from teaching dance to attend college. She has recently graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with the intention of continuing her education at a Physical Therapy Program. Her favorite style of dance is tap! She is so excited to return to teaching and help the students pursue their love for dance!
Laila Crowe
Assistant Teacher
Laila is 19 years old and has been dancing since she was 2. Laila has won numerous awards for dancing competitively over twelve years. Before starting highschool, Laila tried out and made the Texas HighSteppers, the drill team for Texas High High School. Her junior year, she began choreographing hiphop and Pom routines for the team. Laila’s favorite styles of dance are hiphop and jazz. This will be Laila’s first year assisting. She is very excited to help teach and get to know the little cuties at Studio M.
Marianna Fendley
Assistant Teacher
Marianna is 8 years old and has been dancing for 3 years! This year, she is proud to be part of Petite 2 Competition, Petite 2, and Petite Pom. Her favorite styles are lyrical and jazz, but she truly loves every style of dance! If Marianna isn’t dancing, you can probably find her singing! She is always listening to music, especially Michael Jackson. She is beyond excited to take on a new challenge this year and perform her very first comp solo! When she’s not at the studio, Marianna is a second grader who loves to learn and enjoys arts & crafts, She is incredibly creative! Family means everything to Marianna. She is a loving and proud big sister to her two brothers and baby sister, and she loves spending her free time with her family and friends. Marianna has always dreamed of becoming a dance teacher and owning her very own studio one day. This year, she is especially excited to begin working toward that dream by assisting with the younger dancers’ classes. She loves being a positive role model for the little ones and showing them the same love for dance that she has grown to cherish. We are so proud of the kind, creative, determined, and joyful dancer Marianna is becoming, and we can’t wait to watch her continue to grow both on and off the stage!
